Fit After C Section
A c section is a very different process from a vaginal birth experience.

The swelling and the pooch is due to incision scar and scar tissue and it may therefore feel a bit lumpy.
While you may feel ready to get back into an exercise routine it s important to get clearance from your doctor before engaging in a post c section workout. Because a c section is major abdominal surgery the recovery is quite different from a woman experiences after a vaginal birth. Snap back after c section depends on genetics and will vary.
Although my diastasis was minimal after my first c section it was huge after my second and took a long time to heal. You should see your doctor for a visit 6 weeks after the birth and get clearance before commencing your normal fitness routine again. Sit on the edge of a chair with your feet on the floor.
This can help prevent lung congestion from sitting in bed so much. For at least the first 6 weeks stick to only walking. A c section is major surgery.
