The official guide for gmat review has a special section for ir and includes an online companion with 50 additional problems for practice.
Gmat ir section. Gmat ir score range is between 1 8 in 1 point increments the section consists of 12 question of 4 different types. Questions on the integrated reasoning portion of the gmat are designed to combine both verbal and quantitative skills. The integrated reasoning or ir section is a fairly recent addition to the gmat.

Thus your gmat ir score does not affect your overall score out of 800. To test that the ir section requires the students to extract information from text graphs and numbers collect data from different resources to solve complex problems. Gmat club has a compilation of free ir e books for download and practice sets. Concepts tested in ir are covered adequately in quant and verbal section. Initially business schools did not value the ir section much as they did not have enough data to compare applicants.
