Constitution Article 1 Section 3
This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the constitution by conventions in the several states as provided in the constitution within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the states by the congress.
Constitution article 1 section 3. Article three does not set the size of the supreme court or establish specific positions on the court but article one establishes the position of chief justice. For example wisconsin s constitution article i section 12 reads. Section 3 treason against the united states shall consist only in levying war against them or in adhering to their enemies giving them aid and comfort.

Amendment xxii ratified february 27 1951 section 1. Each senator s term lasts six years. Section 3 the senate of the united states shall be composed of two senators from each state chosen by the legislature thereof for six years.
The constitution of every state also expressly forbids bills of attainder. Elections free and open. Immediately after they shall be assembled in consequence of the first election they shall be divided as equally as may be into three classes.
