Punishment for rape. Each of the persons shall be deemed to have committed gang rape within the meaning of this sub section. It is submitted that by treating such forms of abuse as offenses falling under section 354 ipc or 377 ipc the very intent of the amendment of section 376 ipc by incorporating sub section 2 f therein is defeated.
