Article 2 Section 8 Of The Constitution
Section 8 article viii of the 1987 constitution provides.
Article 2 section 8 of the constitution. The president vice president and all civil officers of the united states shall be removed from office on impeachment for and conviction of treason bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors. 1 a judicial and bar council is hereby created under the supervision of the supreme court composed of the chief justice as ex officio chairman the secretary of justice and a representative of the congress as ex officio members a representative of the integrated bar a professor of law a retired member of the supreme. This section gives the president the power to grant pardons.
Neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years and been fourteen years a resident within the united states. Xii state constitution provides in part that t he amendments to section 8 of article ii and section 13 of article v shall take effect december 31 2022. No person except a natural born citizen or a citizen of the united states at the time of the adoption of this constitution shall be eligible to the office of president.
